Kate’s life is pretty miserable. Her best friend has dumped her. Her father quit his job to sell infomercial vitamins in the mall. Her family, as a result, is having some serious money troubles that can only be resolved by her grandmother coming to stay. Of course, Grandma being around just makes everything more tense and more stressful. Kate is also lusting after a boy who has done nothing but torment her since they met in ninth grade. Will also has a bit of a reputation around school for hooking up with every girl he sees. Kate likes Will, but she doesn’t want to, and when he starts to act like he might be interested, she certainly doesn’t want to be just another name on the long, long list of girls that Will has been with…does she?
I loved Elizabeth Scott‘s other two books, bloom and Stealing Heaven, but Perfect You just might be my favorite! It’s a close call as to which is the best, but Perfect You is in no way disappointing, and in many ways awesome. Kate is an awesome main character, but I loved all of the characters, and the complicated relationships they had with each other. Perfect You is a fresh, funny, and honest story that is everything readers will expect from this talented writer, and more! Honestly, I can’t recommend highly enough this fantastic story about family, romance, friendship, love, life, and growing up.

I bought this when I was in Chapel Hill last weekend for two reasons: 1) to read it, duh, lol and 2) to enter Elizabeth’s contest for it.
I haven’t read Bloom yet, but I’ve been wanting to. And Perfect You looks great- so I’m looking forward to reading it. :) Awesome review!

This book is for someone who likes to read about realistic things. If u do this book is a good choice but to me this book is more for girls not for guys. They usually don’t like reading things like this. This is more of a reality thing rather than something tough.

When i read this book, I could not put it down. Will just seemed such a perfect guy. Am I right? He and Katie had the BEST relationship, which made the book just 100 times harder to put down. Katies hardships also effected this story well. When I read Bloom, I got the exact same feeling as this one. It was great. I can not wait to read Elizabeth Scott’s other books. They fascinate me, especially as a teenager growing up!

This book annoys me. Alot. Kate seems oblivious to the obvious fact that Will likes her, and she blames everything bad about her life on everyone else. Her family is falling apart, she blames her dad. She doesn’t even notice her apparent bitchiness to everyone. I’m amazed Will still likes her after all this time. To be quite honest, I think she deserves having no best friend. She is so oblivious to everything! Her personality is sarcastic and annoying, she assumes automatically that everyone hates her and that she is a loser and doesn’t deserve to be with a guy like Will. She makes up excuses for people treating her nicely, making herself the one that everyone should feel sorry for. And she can’t see that her Grandma really does care about her family, and that her dad is obviously too selfish to care that his family is breaking apart because of his obsession with vitamin pills.

It’s very effortless to find out any topic on net as compared to books, as I found this piece of writing at this website.
